State Rep. Thaddeus Claggett | The Ohio House of Representatives
State Representative Thad Claggett has been appointed as Chair of the House Technology and Innovation Committee for Ohio's 136th General Assembly. The appointment was made by Ohio House Speaker Matt Huffman.
Claggett expressed his appreciation for the opportunity, stating, "I’m honored Speaker Huffman has asked me to lead this committee." He emphasized the importance of the committee's work, highlighting Ohio and Licking County's role as a technological hub in the Midwest. Claggett added that their mission involves fostering innovation while safeguarding constitutional liberties.
In addition to his new role, Claggett will serve on several other committees: Commerce and Labor, Government Oversight, and Personal Insurance and Pensions.
