Owen Poole, former Newark High School standout, played on Friday, Feb. 21 in NCAA Division I baseball game

On Friday, Feb. 21, former Newark High School standout Owen Poole’s current college team, the Bowling Green Falcons, won 5-2 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the USC Upstate Spartans.

The game took place at Cleveland S. Harley Baseball Park. This was their first matchup against the Spartans this season.

The Falcons’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 22 at 3 p.m. at Presbyterian Baseball Complex against Presbyterian Blue Hose.
