Centerburg home prices rise in the first quarter of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the first quarter of 2018 in Centerburg rose by $113,115 while total sales increased by 75%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through March of 2018, there were seven homes sold, with a median sale price of $200,000 - a 130.2% increase over the $86,885 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were four homes sold in Centerburg in the first quarter of 2017.

The median sales tax in Centerburg for 2018 was $1,623. In 2017, the median sales tax was $1,491. This marks an increase of 8.9%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 0.8%.
