Fredericktown home prices fall in the third quarter of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the third quarter of 2019 in Fredericktown fell by $7,000 while total sales increased by 42.9%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through September of 2019, there were 20 homes sold, with a median sale price of $103,000 - a 6.4% decrease over the $110,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 14 homes sold in Fredericktown in the third quarter of 2018.

The median sales tax in Fredericktown for 2019 was $1,384. In 2018, the median sales tax was $1,369. This marks an increase of 1%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 1.3%.
