Fredericktown home prices rise in the fourth quarter of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the fourth quarter of 2019 in Fredericktown rose by $5,500 while total sales increased by 142.9%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From October through December of 2019, there were 17 homes sold, with a median sale price of $125,000 - a 4.6% increase over the $119,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were seven homes sold in Fredericktown in the fourth quarter of 2018.

The median sales tax in Fredericktown for 2019 was $1,384. In 2018, the median sales tax was $1,369. This marks an increase of 1%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 1.1%.
