Mount Vernon home prices rise in the first quarter of 2020

The median sale price of a home sold in the first quarter of 2020 in Mount Vernon rose by $12,500 while total sales increased by 43.8%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through March of 2020, there were 46 homes sold, with a median sale price of $110,000 - a 12.8% increase over the $97,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 32 homes sold in Mount Vernon in the first quarter of 2019.
