LICKING COUNTY CHAMBER OF COMMERCE: Indian Mound Mall to Host Life-Saving Blood Drive on Oct. 27

Licking County Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement on Oct. 22. 

Indian Mound Mall takes action during a nationwide blood shortage by welcoming the American Red Cross for an on-site blood drive

WHAT:              The Indian Mound Mall will host the American Red Cross for an on-site blood drive on Tuesday, Oct. 27 from 2 p.m.- 7 p.m. According to the American Red Cross, every two seconds someone in the United States needs blood, and one blood donation can save up to three lives. As the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic continues, blood drive cancellations have resulted in more than 85,000 fewer blood donations, causing a nationwide blood shortage. The Indian Mound Mall invites eligible community members to safely donate blood during this critical time. Individuals are encouraged to register in advance by calling 1-800-RED-CROSS (1-800-733-2767) or by visiting redcrossblood.org and using Sponsor Code “IndianMall”.

WHEN:             The blood drive donation event will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 27 from 2 p.m. – 7 p.m.

WHERE:           The blood drive donation event will be held at Indian Mound Mall at 771 S. 30th St., Heath Ohio. Please use front entrance A and follow the signs.

WHO:               Since 1881, the American Red Cross has remained committed to preventing and alleviating humans suffering in the face of emergencies by mobilizing the power of volunteers and the generosity of donors.
