Licking County Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement on Oct. 22.
Mayor James Layton swore in Village Administrator John Trujillo at the September 23, 2020 Council Meeting.
Mr. Trujillo has 32 years of background in public service and project management. He most recently served as the Stormwater Coordinator for the City of Newark, and served on the Licking County Soil & Water Conservation District Board until 2014.
His many years of Business Development and Management positions, along with his broad background in Pretreatment, Water, Reclamation Solid Waste, Permitting, Design, and Construction have fostered a valuable knowledge base that we believe are the perfect foundation for current projects and future growth for the Village of Hebron.
Mr. Trujillo has worked in over 16 states and three countries for federal, state, and municipal government, industrial, and commercial clients. Mr. Trujillo earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from the University of Phoenix. He has an extensive background in computer programs and applications, ARC Map GIS, and has obtained multiple professional certifications.
