Cost of college went up for all students at Kenyon College

Tuition and fees rose 4.4 percent for 2018-19 at Kenyon College, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Ohio students paid $55,930 to attend the four-year private not-for-profit institution this year – $2,370 more than the $53,560 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 64 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 266 students received grants or scholarships totaling $9.8 million and 123 students took out student loans totaling more than $653,953.

Including all undergraduates (1,730), 973 students used grants or scholarships totaling $36.4 million, and 496 students took out $2.5 million in federal student loans.
