Cost of college went up for all students at Career and Technology Education Centers of Licking County

Tuition and fees rose 3.8 percent for 2018-19 at Career and Technology Education Centers of Licking County, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Ohio students paid $797 to attend the public school this year – $29 more than the $768 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 62 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 43 students received grants or scholarships totaling $130,516 and 22 students took out student loans totaling more than $150,857.

Including all undergraduates (316), 127 students used grants or scholarships totaling $620,092, and 81 students took out $566,113 in federal student loans.
