Ohio State University-Newark Campus enrolls 2,870 undergrads

At Ohio State University-Newark Campus, 92 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 50 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year public institution in Newark enrolled 2,882 students in fall 2018, including 2,870 in undergraduate and 12 in graduate programs, data shows. 4.8 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

100 percent of undergraduates are residents of Ohio.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (68 percent) and Black or African American (15 percent).
